Blue Eyes - watercolour - 18cm x 26cm - magnani 300 roughThere was something about the look of innocence in this young lady's eyes that pulled me in and said "Paint me". I liked the light on the left side of the face. It's my first go at this italian paper and while the texture is a bit mechanical and regular I did enjoy the ability to lift off without damage to the surface.

The best of your watercolour portraits to date i reckon. A nice flow to it that makes it look that it has come together well.
