I am both delighted and very proud to announce that my little
painting has been adjudged the winner of the inaugural
Gwenda Hackett Memorial Watercolour Prize.
The award is in memory of the late Gwenda Hackett, a long time
Fellow of the Society, and was set up with a gift from her family.
It is to be awarded biannually for the best watercolour in the
RSASA Winter Exhibition.
This is a work that follows on from others I have produced, both in oils
and watercolours, honouring these lovely creatures.
A big thank you to all who have been involved in this exhibition and
award.
